Ziplining excursion near Kruger National Park
The Induna Zipline, just outside Hazyview is a 450 metre long zip slide that take you up to a speed of about 100 km/h. The height difference is 77 m. You are harnessed in so you don’t have to hold on by yourself.
On arrival at Induna Adventure Centre, you will be introduced to your guides. There are 3 guides operating the zipline, 1 Jump Master who will accompany you to the top of the zipline and 2 guides who will unhook you after your slide.
You will be kitted up with a full body harness before you depart for the top of the ziplne. It is a 5 minute’s drive to the top, either on a quad bike with the guide or with an Induna vehicle. The Jump Master Guide will brief you on what to do and what not to do.
You don’t have to apply brakes as the zipline cable is slack and hangs in a loop where the upward gradient slows you down automatically.
When you have finally come to a stand still, the two guide at the bottom of the zipline will off hook you.
